FREE After School Arts Classes
at CAC
FREE After School Classes at CAC are available to students in grades 1-8 and offer exciting programs that focus on various art mediums - perfect for all interests and all levels! Students can choose from Visual Arts, Sewing, Animals & Art, and Extreme STEAM.
Classes will meet on Wednesdays or Thursdays from 4:15-5:15 pm and two separate sessions of multi-week classes will be offered.
Transportation is not provided.
Our After School Classes are open to families who live in the following ZIP Codes: 21060, 21061, 21113, 21122, 21144, 21225, 20755, and qualifying students will be admitted on a first come, first-serve basis.

Visual Arts: Dive into a series of exciting hands-on projects! This fun class introduces techniques in drawing, painting and collage.
Animals and Art: Join us as we explore nature and art. Students explore a different topic each day, complete with live animal ambassadors, along with STEAM based art, science and activities. Explore with us!
Sewing: In this fun after-school class, 4th and 8th graders will learn the basics of sewing. Students will learn basic hand and machine sewing skills while creating a stuffed creature. No prior sewing experience is needed—just curiosity and creativity!
Extreme STEAM: Unleash your inner scientist in this class! Students will tinker with robotics, explore the chemistry of color, make experimental slime, and more!
Ceramics Handbuilding: In this fun and creative class, kids will explore the world of clay through handbuilding techniques. They'll learn basic techniques like coiling, pinching, and slab-building to craft their own unique sculptures, pottery, and more.
