CAC is excited to bring new Adult, Kids, and Family art programs to the Severn Center starting this April! These engaging, hands-on workshops and classes will inspire creativity and connection for all ages, offering a variety of artistic experiences—from painting and drawing to mixed media and more. Whether you're looking to explore a new hobby, to develop artistic skills, or to enjoy creative time with family and friends, there's something for everyone!

4.3 Hydroponic Painting

Experiment with the dynamic fluid movement using paint and rubbing alcohol to create your own unique beautiful piece of art.

Adult Art Workshop | 2-3:30 pm | Ages 18+
Kids After School Art Workshop | 4-5 pm | Ages 8-11

4.5 Story Telling Through Art

Adults and children will collaborate to bring personal stories to life through art, as kids illustrate cherished memories shared by their caregivers using drawings, paintings, or collages. This project fosters intergenerational connections while preserving history in a creative and engaging way.

4.10 Handmade Memory Book

Create small booklets filled with drawings, stories, and personal reflections.

4.17 Nature Prints with Solar Paper

Participants will use special light-sensitive paper to create stunning prints of leaves, flowers, and found objects while learning about UV light, photography, and the science behind solar energy. Each person takes home their own one-of-a-kind artwork!

4.24 Collaborative Mural

Participants will contribute their own unique designs to a large mural. This collaborative piece will celebrate creativity, self-expression, and the shared experiences of multiple generations.
