February is recognized as American Heart Month, a dedicated time for everyone to prioritize their cardiovascular health.
The Chesapeake Arts Center is partnering with Baltimore Washington Medical Center for the heART Fundraiser and Gallery Reception on February 7, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Express your creativity by turning a small, pre-cut heart into a one-of-a-kind piece of art for our “HeART” exhibit and fundraiser! Whether you choose to paint, embellish, decorate, or adorn your heart, your contribution will join over 200 other creations made by professional artists, community members, and students. These heartfelt artworks will be elegantly showcased throughout the Patricia Barland Gallery and will be available for purchase on Friday, February 7. Proceeds will support CAC Education Department and UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center’s Cardiac Care Programs, combining the power of art with the gift of giving! Join us as Dr. Abid Ali Fakhri, an award-winning cardiologist from Baltimore Washington Medical Center, offers brief remarks about heart health and BMWC’s cardiac care services.
The exhibition will be on display in the Patricia Barland Gallery from January 29 to February 16, 2025
